Excel may become unresponsive while updating an XLGL report. This is normal and you just need to wait for it to complete its operation. However, if Excel is crashing while you are using XLGL, there are a number of things you can do:
- Restart the computer
- Install the latest updates for Windows.
- Install the latest updates for Office.
- Install the latest updates for XLGL. If an update is available, it will show on the right of the XLGL Ribbon. You can also look in your online account under Downloads. See this video for more information.
- In Excel, go to Excel Options and look at the Add-ins tab. Disable any add-ins that you are not actively using. Restart Excel.
- Send us the troublesome XLGL report along with troubleshooting information.
