Logicim XLGL is missing from the ribbon/menu in Excel or the button is unresponsive. What can I do?

XLGL is not in the Excel ribbon/menu

There are two possible solutions

First solution

Try the following:

1. Save your work and close all Excel windows.
2. Click on the windows start menu button.
3. Navigate down to the Logicim XLGL group and open it.
4. Click on register Logicim XLGL in Excel.

Second solution

Remove the XLGL add-ins from the disabled items list in Excel:

1. Open Excel.
2. Click on Options.
3. Click on Add-ins.
4. Select Disabled Items from the manage dropdown box at the bottom of the window.
5. Click Go...
6. Select the XLGL add-in(s) from the list and click enable.
7. Click close.
8. Click ok in the options window.
9. Close Excel.
10. Click on the windows start menu button.
11. Navigate down to the Logicim XLGL group and open it.
12. Click on register in Excel.
