Logicim XLGL installation and activation

Getting ready to install

Before you can download and install Logicim XLGL, you must create an online account. You will receive an activation link by email. Click that link to activate your account. 

Login to your account page, then click downloads. Finally, click the download button for Logicim XLGL. Once the file is ready, click on it to execute the installation program. 

Ensure to review the requirement section of the Logicim XLGL page before installing. Also, ensure to close all Microsoft Excel and Sage 50 windows prior to installation. 

Installation

Execute the installation program, accept the user license agreement, and click Next to complete the installation. When you are done, close the installation wizard. 

Open Microsoft Excel to find the Logicim XLGL ribbon. If you do not see it or if the buttons on the ribbon are unresponsive, please see the Troubleshooting XLGL installation video. 

Activation

The first time you install Logicim XLGL, you will need to activate it, either as a 30-day trial or using a serial number you purchased. Click activate on the Logicim XLGL menu. If you have a serial number, enter it and click validate. If installing on a terminal server, make sure to indicate the number of licenses to activate on the server. 

If you are looking to try out Logicim XLGL, click the 30-day trial button and enter your credentials. These are the same as those you used to create your account on the Logicim website. 

You can access the activation window at any time by clicking on the "About XLGL" button on the ribbon and then clicking on activate.
