Traditional Licensing - Using Serial Numbers

Initial Purchase Includes One Year of Updates

Your initial Logicim XLGL purchase includes one year of updates.

You can access all available updates for one year starting from your initial purchase date, even if additional licenses are added later.

Update Subscription Renewal

After the first year, you can renew your Update Subscription for an additional year.

The renewal price depends on the number of licenses you have.

1. Personal Edition (2 licenses): $299
2. Other editions:
3. First license: $199
4. Each additional license: $100

Example pricing:

1. 3 licenses: $199 + (2 × $100) = $399
2. 5 licenses: $199 + (4 × $100) = $599
3. 10 licenses: $199 + (9 × $100) = $1,099

Update Subscription renewal is optional, but it is required if you want continued access to newer versions, improvements, and compatibility updates.

Logicim XLGL Platform Plan (SaaS)

If you are using the new Logicim XLGL Platform Plan, updates are already included in your subscription.

This means:

1. Renewal happens automatically based on your selected monthly or yearly plan
2. You always get access to the latest available features, improvements, and compatibility updates
3. You do not need to purchase a separate Update Subscription because updates are already included in your monthly or yearly Platform Plan
4. Pricing depends on the Logicim XLGL Platform Plan you choose and the number of users included in your subscription
5. The more users you add, the lower the price per user may become
6. You can cancel your subscription at any time

Example Platform Plan Pricing

The Logicim XLGL Platform Plan (SaaS) includes updates as part of your subscription.

For example:

1. Personal (Yearly): $279
2. Business (Yearly): starting at $149 per user
3. Minimum of 2 users: $149 x 2 = $298 per year
4. With 5 users, the price per user decreases to $126.89, for a total of $126.89 × 5 = $634.45 per year
5. Enterprise (Yearly): starting at $199 per user
6. Minimum of 2 users: $199 x 2 = $398 per year
7. With 5 users, the price per user decreases to $167.87, for a total of $167.87 × 5 = $839.35 per year

Monthly plans are also available. Pricing may vary depending on the plan and the number of users selected.

Your Existing License Can Help Reduce the Cost

Moving to the new Logicim XLGL Platform Plan (SaaS) from Traditional serial number licensing does not always mean paying more.

If your current serial number is still active, Logicim automatically creates a coupon for you.

The coupon is based on:

1. The remaining time left on your serial number
2. The number of licenses included on your serial number

The more time remaining on your serial number, the larger your coupon value may be.

This helps ensure that your previous investment is not lost when moving to the Logicim XLGL Platform Plan.

For example:

You choose a Business Plan, and your serial number has 3 licenses with 45 days (1.5 months) remaining.

1. Monthly coupon calculation: ($14.99 × 3) × 1.5 = $67.46
2. Yearly coupon calculation: (($149 ÷ 10) × 3) × 1.5 = $67.05

For many customers, the new Platform Plan (SaaS) offers a simpler way to stay current without managing serial numbers, manual update renewals, or compatibility concerns.

Expired serial numbers do not generate a coupon.
