Can I use the software I purchased forever?

It depends on the type of license you have.

Traditional Licensing - using serial numbers

If you purchased Logicim XLGL using the traditional serial number licensing model, you can continue using the version you purchased for as long as you want in the environment it was built for.

However:

1. Update subscriptions may still be required to access newer versions, improvements, and compatibility updates
2. Older versions may eventually become incompatible with newer versions of Excel, Sage 50, or Windows
3. Traditional serial number licenses are no longer offered for new purchases

Logicim XLGL Platform Plan (SaaS)

If you are using the new Logicim XLGL Platform Plan, access is subscription-based.

This means:

1. Your access remains active while your subscription is active
2. You receive access to the latest available features and improvements during your subscription period
3. No perpetual license is included with the SaaS model because the new Logicim XLGL Platform Plan is designed to keep your software current and compatible
