What should I do if Excel crashes while using Logicim XLGL?

Excel may become unresponsive while updating a Logicim XLGL report. This is normal, and you just need to wait for it to complete its operation. However, if Excel is crashing while you are using Logicim XLGL, there are a number of things you can do:

  • Restart the computer
  • Install the latest updates for Windows.
  • Install the latest updates for Office.
  • Install the latest updates for Logicim XLGL. If an update is available, it will show on the right of the Logicim XLGL Ribbon. You can also look in your online account under Downloads. See this video for more information.
  • Go to Excel Options in your Excel and look at the Add-ins tab. Disable any add-ins that you are not actively using, then restart Excel.
  • Send us the troublesome XLGL report along with troubleshooting information.
