Connecting to a Sage 50 Canadian edition company with Logicim XLGL

These instructions are only for Sage 50 Canadian edition

Connecting to a Sage 50 Canadian edition company with Logicim:

1. Click the Logicim XLGL ribbon tab, then click Connect. The connection panel will open on the left of the window.
2. Click New connection, then Sage 50 Canada.
3. Verify the filename and path to ensure you are connecting to the correct company...
4. To change the company file:
5. Click "browse".
6. Navigate to the SAI file of the company you want to connect to, and
7. Click "open".
8. Rename your connection to identify different company files clearly.
9. Set the username, usually "sysadmin". Configure users if needed in Sage 50...
10. Click "connect". A green light indicates a successful connection!
